At least 20 persons have been reportedly killed after a huge blast rocked one of the biggest mosques in Afghanistan's western city of Herat on Friday.
The blast killed the country's influential pro-Taliban cleric and causing many other casualties, local media reported.
"Mujib Rahman Ansari, with some of his guards and civilians, have been killed on their way toward the mosque," said Herat's police spokesperson Mahmood Rasoli.
Rasoli did not say how many casualties the blast caused.
