The world's heaviest teenager has taken the first step in his life after 24 years of staying put without moving on his own because of his being obese.

Khaled Mohsen Al Shaeri

The now 24-year-old who was once known as the world's heaviest teen has taken the first step in his life since he was born after shedding an incredible 50 stone.

Khaled took the first step in ever in his life after shedding 50 stone.

The boy named Khaled Mohsen Al Shaeri, from Saudi Arabia, weighed an eye-watering 96 stone at his heaviest before the treatment was organised for him by the late King Abdullah in 2013. The boy had to shed more than two thirds of his body weight after undergoing an intensive fitness routine.

He even had a special crane that helped carried or lift him

Khaled is not stopping there either, and plans to lose even more weight after managing to walk with the help of a Zimmer frame for the first time in his life. A special crane was even ordered from the U.S. to lift Khaled, before he was flown to the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
