During an adoration program on Wednesday, June 15, Mbaka said that Peter Obi, who refused to publicly sow seed in Mbaka's Ministry back in 2018 - cannot emerge as Nigeria's President because he is too stingy and would impoverish Nigerians.
The comment has continued generate outrage from Nigerians and the Catholic Diocese of Enugu also disowned Mbaka.
Reacting on Facebook, Fr. Oluoma, said that Peter Obi is only stingy to private ministries like Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry but generous to public institutions like schools and hospitals.
He wrote: "My positions on 2023 elections are: Na presidential candidate wey no bribe delegates we go vote.
"Na candidate wey dey stingy to private ministries but generous to public institutions like schools and hospitals we go vote."
