Boko Haram Commanders, 40 Terrorists Killed In Borno (Photos)

Boko Haram commanders have been captured after engaging soldiers in a gun battle that lasted for hours.

 
47 terrorists including top Commanders of ISWAP/Boko Haram have been killed during an encounter with Nigerian military.
 
The operation that led to the death of the terrorists was carried out by troops of the Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
 
The military and CJTF operatives with the support of the 21 Army Armoured Brigade Bama, stormed one of the deadliest camps of the insurgents in Gazuwa village in Bama Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State on June 12, 2022.
 
The camps, which were renamed by the terrorists as “Gazuwa or Markas” (Headquarters), and formerly known as Gabchari, Mantari, and Mallum Masari, haboured more than 3,000 terrorists and their families from the late Abubakar Shekau faction.
 
During the encounter that lasted for over three hours, 47 of the terrorists alongside their commanders were eliminated.
