Two Sons of Chief Justice of Nigeria Clinch APC and PDP Tickets For National Assembly

Siraj polled 189 votes, Imba, his closest rival secured 177 votes. Bulkachuwa did not get a single vote.

 
Two sons of the Chief Judge of the Federation Justice Ibrahim Tanko will represent their constituencies in the 2023 National Assembly elections after clinching party tickets.
 
This comes after Siraj Ibrahim Tanko won the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Bauchi North Senatorial seat after defeating two other contestants, including the incumbent Senator representing the constituency, Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa, in the primary election. 
 
Daily Trust reported that while Siraj polled 189 votes, Imba, his closest rival secured 177 votes. Bulkachuwa did not get a single vote.
  
The CJN's other son, Sani Ibrahim Tanko won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Primary election in Shira Giafe Federal Constituency of the House of Representatives. He was elected unopposed.
