The European Union (EU) has reacted to the gruesome murder of 200LVL student, Deborah Samuel by her colleagues in Sokoto State.
The life of the Shehu Shagari College of Education student was violently cut short by a mob last Thursday.
The EU urged the Nigerian authorities to ensure that the perpetrators were prosecuted.
Reacting, the 27-member union demanded that justice is done.
“Still saddened by last week’s gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel in Sokoto.
“Everything must be done to ensure the murderers are not only swiftly brought to justice, but that justice is done. Reoccurrence must also be prevented,” a statement on Twitter reads.
