Unknown Gunmen Attack Road Side Sellers At Nkwo Umunze For Disobeying Sit-At-Home Order (Video)

An eye witness, who gave her name as Ogochukwu, and a resident of the area, said the men stormed the daily market that is mostly filled with food stuffs, chased the traders and their customers away and scattered their goods.

 
Some petty traders and roadside sellers have recorded a loss after they were attacked by unknown gunmen enforcing sit-at-home order in Anambra State.
 
The traders had opened business today, Monday April 16 2022 only for the unknown gunmen to attack them.
 
An eye witness, who gave her name as Ogochukwu, and a resident of the area, said the men stormed the daily market that is mostly filled with food stuffs, chased the traders and their customers away and scattered their goods.
 
She also said that bags of rice was packed into their car, even tubers of yam and other food stuffs, then three machines were burnt.
 
She also stated that one of the bikes was bought newly by the owner, that it hasn’t been up to 1 month old.
 
Several voice were heard in background saying that the traders and people of Umunze are always stubborn, that they’ve been warned several times to stop opening their businesses on Monday.
 
From the video obtained by LatestNGnews.com, no lives was lost and no one was injured, the gunmen came to instill fear in the people while they seized/made away with some of their food stuffs
