Rotimi Amaechi Obtains APC’s N100M Presidential Form
Former Rivers State Governor and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has purchased the 100M All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential expression of interest and nomination forms.
Amaechi disclosed this via his verified Facebook account.
The APC Presidential aspirant pledged to represent all tribes and region across the country.
Amaechi described himself as a true Nigerian candidate.
“I just got my expression of interest and presidential nomination forms. I appreciate my friends and associates for doing me this honour.
“I assure you that I am a representation of all tribes and regions. A true Nigerian candidate,” he wrote.
Recently, the Minister declared his aspiration to become Nigeria’s President in 2023.
The APC pegged its presidential forms at N100 million.
The price had drawn mixed reactions from Nigerians who frowned at the decision of the ruling party.
But, the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Goodwill Akpabio had said any serious candidate would cough out the money without going to the bank.
