Sani in a Twitter post, lamented that bandits kidnapped 25 persons from Anguwan Bulus area of Kanduna and made calls.

A former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani has wondered the usefulness of linking the National Identification Number to sim cards when security operatives can't apprehend bandits.

Sani in a Twitter post yesterday, lamented that bandits kidnapped 25 persons from Anguwan Bulus area of Kanduna and made calls.

He wrote:

Terrorists abducted 25 people from Anguwan Bulus, Kaduna and MADE PHONE CALLS for ransom, when the ransom was delayed, they killed 3 of the victims.

The question again; why can’t the NCC and security agencies track these calls and callers?
