The deceased who is yet-to-be named drowne in the pool while swimming with other people who came for Easter celebration.
A young man who went with his friends to swim at a popular resort located in Makurdi, the Benue state capital to celebrate the Easter has drowned.
It was gathered that the incident happened at the Resort called MJ resort over the weekend.
Efforts to revive him failed.
Eyewitnesses at the scene who expressed shock stated that this was not the first incident at the resort.
A eyewitness said just last year, a fresh graduate of Benue state university identified simply as Emmanuel lost his life at the pool, according to Salemgist.
Many other visitors of the resort also expressed their scary encounters with the pool.
A regular visitor at the pool said the pool is 8ft deep, he lamented that someone who has a little knowledge of swimming could easily drown.
