The international governing body of association football, FIFA has announced that Scotland’s 2022 World Cup play-off semi-final at home to Ukraine will now be played on June 1.

The match was originally scheduled for last month, but was postponed due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

FIFA also confirmed that the winners of Scotland vs Ukraine would face Wales in Cardiff.

The winner of that game on June 5 will have a slot at the tournament later this year in Qatar.

The final winners will be in the same group with England, the USA and Iran.
