Kidnappers have sent a threat to the family of the traditional ruler of Bukpe community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT after abducting him.
The abductors said they will kill the traditional ruler identified as His Royal Highness, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi if the family don't raise N6 million in the next 24 hours.
The kidnappers had earlier demanded for N20m before reducing it to N6m. A family member told Daily Trust that the abductors called and threatened to kill the chief if the family failed to raise the N6m in the next 24 hours.
He said;
“It was just today around 10am that they called and threatened to kill the chief if the family fails to bring N6m after 24 hours. The threat has thrown the entire family into confusion as we don’t know how to raise the N6m.”
