Recall that the proscribed group had called off the sit-at-home order and accused Ekpa’s faction of carrying out attacks in the South-East and enforcing the directive.
Simon Ekpa has mocked the governor of Anambra state, Charles Soludo.
The self-styled disciple of the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) took to his social media page to mock the governor over the compliance with the Monday sit-at-home order.
This comes after the proscribed group had called off the sit-at-home order and accused Ekpa’s faction of carrying out attacks in the South-East and enforcing the directive.
Following the cancellation of the order by IPOB, Soludo directed civil and public servants in the state to report to work on Monday or face sanctions.
But in a tweet via his Twitter page on Monday, Ekpa claimed that the people of Anambra have deserted the governor over their refusal to go to work or open their shops.
The Biafra agitator shared pictures of deserted roads in Akwa, the state capital, as residents complied with the Monday sit-at-home directive.
He wrote: “People of Anambra have deserted @CCSoludo. Where are you Bishops, churches and clergymen that Soludo boosted they will end Biafra civil disobedience today 4th of April 2022? This is Awka in Anambra state today and Soludo is observing sit at home. This is a referendum on its own.”
