Nigerian singer/songwriter, Simi has reacted to the death of medical doctor, Chinelo Megafu and other victims of the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

Chinelo, who died from injuries sustained during the Abuja-Kaduna train attack, had tweeted that she had been shot, asking for prayers.

Reacting in a Twitter post, Simi wondered why the government is yet to declare a state of emergency following the terrorist attack.

The 33-year-old also criticised those who have declared their support for the government.

“So…it’s business as usual? Just like that? No outrage? No State of Emergency? And some people have the actual audacity to support this government with their conscience intact? Wow,” she tweeted.
