Tinubu advised Nigerians to tolerate each other’s religion, beliefs and reject all forms of discrimination dividing the country.
The All Progressives Congress national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suggested ways to move the country forward.
He took to Twitter to reveal his position on the matter.
The presidential aspirant in a tweet via his Twitter page on Wednesday, said the country can only move forward when there is religious tolerance and inter-faith harmony among the people.
Tinubu advised Nigerians to tolerate each other’s religion, beliefs and reject all forms of discrimination dividing the country.
He stated that the citizens need unity in diversity for economic prosperity and not divide and rule for political adversity.
The APC national leader added that religious institutions in the country must be seen to be promoting brotherhood and sportsmanship in all political processes.
He said: “As I have always maintained, we need religious tolerance and inter-faith harmony in this country. We must reject ideas of discrimination.
“We want unity in diversity for economic prosperity and not divide-and-rule for political adversity.
“As spiritual homes to people of all political affiliations, our religious institutions must be seen to be promoting brotherhood and sportsmanship in our political process”
