The Police Command noted that it saw no need to arrest the two women for breach of public peace, as the event went on after security personnel de-escalated the tension.

The Anambra police command has addressed claims of arresting the former First lady of Anambra state, Ebelechukwu Obiano and Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of late Biafra warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu over fight at the swearing-in ceremony of Charles Soludo as Governor of Anambra state on Thursday, March 17.
The Police Command noted that it saw no need to arrest the two women for breach of public peace, as the event went on after security personnel de-escalated the tension.
The command however stated that if there's any need to interface between the two, they will do so.
The police said in a statement;
“Because of the intervention of security personnel, the quarrel between the two personalities didn’t escalate. Meanwhile, the event continued without any further problems and if there is any need to interface between the two, the Police Command will do so.”
