The officers of the Delta State Police Command’s Raiders Squad in conjunction with Raiders Volunteer Corp have arrested 15 suspects with hard drugs in their possession.
The suspects were arrested by the police during a raid on several black spots at Animeli road by Panama junction and Kevin Road both in Sapele.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement signed and made available to DAILY POST.
He said the Police recovered 15 grams of substances suspected to be cocaine, one compressed sack of a substance suspected to be Indian hemp, seven packets of tramadol, 12 syringes, four CSP codeine syrup bottles, two crushers, some items suspected to be charms, one cooler soaked with suspected Indian hemp popularly known as ‘monkey tail’, one grinder and 20 packets of rizzlas from the suspects.
He said investigation is ongoing.
