Romanian Universities Offer Free Accommodation to Nigerian Students Who Fled Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the provision of accommodation would last for a month.

 
Some universities in Romania have offered free accommodation to Nigerians fleeing Ukraine.
 
The announcement was made by the Nigerian Government, saying the free accommodation is for Nigerians who fled Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the provision of accommodation would last for a month.
 
Provisions have also been made for Nigerian students who wish to continue their education in Russia.
 
The statement titled, Public notice from the embassy of Nigeria in Romania, read: "The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Bucharest, Romania wishes to notify Nigerian students fleeing the conflict in Ukraine that arrangements has been made with some Universities to provide hostel accommodation for Nigerians who wish to explore options and opportunities of furthering their education in Romania (for a period of 1 month)."
 
The ministry urged those willing to partake in the offer to send a message to either of the following numbers: +40 749 335 927 or +40 786 091 964.
