Russia-Ukraine War: Second Batch Of 180 Nigerians Arrives Abuja

The evacuees, numbering about 180, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, at 6:35pm on Friday in an Air Peace flight.

 

The government of Nigerian has received the second batch of Nigerian evacuees from Ukraine.

The evacuees, numbering about 180, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, at 6:35pm on Friday in an Air Peace flight.

The Head, Media and Public Relations Unit, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, confirmed the arrival of the second batch.

Earlier on Friday, the Nigerian government received 416 Nigerian students from Ukraine via Romania.

Nigerian airlines, Max Air and Air Peace concluded arrangements to conduct the evacuation flights of Nigerians from Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia.
