Vector, the popular Nigerian rapper has weighed in on money rituals saying the only ritual for money is work.
The popular music star said that the only way to gather wealth is to work hard.
Vector noted that money is a printed paper used for exchange and cannot possibly emerge from human blood.
“The only verifiable concept of anything beyond the physical is one’s own spirit. Money wey na paper and printing ink wey dem dey make for designated printing press na him one silly person dey believe say, if him kill person, e go get When collaborating with another human being alive gives you a higher probability of making the same money? The only ritual for making money is work,” Vector noted.
Vector’s submission was a comment on a post by his colleague, Seun Kuti, who also condemned money ritual.
Kuti, an Afrobeat musician pleaded with youths involved in rituals to desist saying killings of Africans for money must stop.
Seun wrote: “Stop killing people for money! Stop killing people, period! Selective outrage is worse than lying, it’s hypocrisy! Stop killing my people for money. We need this hashtag to trend all over Africa #stopkillingafricansformoney. From the slave trade to today this has been the ‘true’ ritual of the global rich! The killing of our people for profit and this generation must stop it, by fire by force!”
