Two Arrested For Stealing Ogun Monarch’s Crown, Staff

The suspects were arrested when the hoodlums returned to the community to wreak more havoc, as the crown and staff were recovered from them.

The suspects, Saheed Olatunji and Lukmon

Two suspects identified as Saheed Olatunji and Lukmon fingered in the alleged invasion of the traditional ruler of Iraye community in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Mosudi Owodina have been apprehended.

It was gathered that the men and others at large invaded the palace on October 4, 2021, and stole the monarch’s crown and staff of office.

They were, however, arrested when the hoodlums returned to the community to wreak more havoc, as the crown and staff were recovered from them.
