Olu of Warri and President Muhammadu Buhari
Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday received the audience of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The monarch paid a visit to Buhari at the State House.
The President took to his Facebook page to announce the news and wrote:
"Today at the State House I received a delegation from the Warri Kingdom, led by His Royal Majesty, Tsola Emiko, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri Kingdom.
They visited to say thank you for the delegation I sent to the Olu’s coronation, as well as to discuss a number of important issues relating to the Kingdom, Delta State and the South South.
I’ve taken note of all their requests, and assured them that I will work on them as soon as politically possible.
I’m grateful for the visit, and will continue to ensure that the Itsekiri people get a fair deal from our administration, just like every other part of the country."
