Kalu meets Buhari
Former Governor of Abia State and Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu has paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit to inform him of his decision to decision to contest in the 2023 presidential election.

Kalu disclosed that he informed the President of his aspiration to succeed him in 2023 during a visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday night.
The chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said he visited Buhari to also discuss some major national issues with him, noting he is satisfied with their conversation.
Kalu stated that the President is in good health, adding that he looks forward to a better country ahead of the 2023 elections.
Kalu wrote: “Tonight, I paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit to discuss major national issues and I am very satisfied with our discussion. I left him at 10 pm and in good health.
“We look forward to a better Nigeria.”
