Traders in the market reportedly made several efforts to put out the fire to no avail.

About four shops were affected by the inferno before help came.

Head of Oyo state fire service, Mr. Mashood Adewuyi, confirmed the incident to DAILY POST, explaining that the fire was noticed in the early hours of the day.
