Barely 24 hours after the killing of a Nigerian army Brig-General, members of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) have carried out another deadly attack in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
Daily Trust reported that the insurgents set houses ablaze in Dille village, in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno state which was also attacked during the weekend.
An eyewitness told the publication that the terrorists stormed the village around 5:30pm, looted many stores, carted away food items and also torched the houses they stole from.

The army retaliated by reportedly killing 50 terrorist commanders.
