Bandits Attack Tegina Again, Abduct Factory Workers

The bandits stormed the town on Saturday at about 9pm and went to a sachet water factory adjacent Government Girls’ Secondary School in the community.

 
At least five persons have been abducted in Tegina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State after bandits attacked the area again.
 
Recall that some months ago, the bandits had abducted pupils of an Islamiyya school in Tegina.
 
A source who spoke to Daily Trust on the issue disclosed that the terrorists returned to the community this weekend and kidnapped five factory workers.
 
It was gathered that the bandits numbering about ten invaded the community with AK47.
 
The source while speaking on the incident noted that the terrorists stormed the town on Saturday at about 9pm and went to a sachet water factory adjacent Government Girls’ Secondary School in the community.
 
“They caught us unawares because they came on foot. We just started hearing gunshots and we ran for our lives. They went to the sachet water factory where five persons were taken away.”
