An angry student has beaten the hell out of his teacher in Ogun state.
It was gathered that the mathematics teacher at the Itori Comprehensive High School was reportedly rushed to the hospital after he was beaten on Tuesday by one of his students for stopping him from assaulting a female student in Ogun.
According to reports, the teacher identified as Owolabi was beaten to a pulp after some hoodlums invaded a school in the Yewa-North area and injured two teachers.
The yet-to be identified student had strolled into the class while the teacher was teaching and descended on the junior girl who was in the class.
According to eyewitness said, “The teacher was teaching SS1 students when the male student entered the class and beat up a girl.
“The teacher told the boy to stop assaulting the girl, but boy descended on the innocent teacher and beat him up.
“The boy has been apprehended and has been taken to the police station, while the Amotekun group is also on ground in the school.”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi pleaded for more time to get information on the incident.
