The singer who seemed displeased with the videos urged his fans to desist from the challenge.

Nigerian artist, Joseph Akinfenwa-Docus, popularly known as Joeboy took to Twitter to warn Nigerians to desist from pouring harmful content on their bodies while performing a challenge to his new song.

The 24-year-old singer’s new song ‘ Alcohol ‘ released on the 24th of September has been trending on Tiktok and other social media networks since its release.

This led to a viral challenge where fans were seen pouring harmful content like bleach on their bodies with some even going to the extent of drinking Dettol.

Joeboy, who seemed displeased with the videos urged his fans to desist from the challenge.

He, however, thanked them for their unwavering support for his songs.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: “I appreciate the love alcohol is getting but stop pouring stuff on your bodies.

“You’re welcome to keep learning the lyrics by the way.”
