The suspects
The Nigerian police have rescued Isiaq Khadeejah, the 300-level female student of the Kwara State University, Malete who was abducted last Sunday.
A statement by the spokesman of the Kwara State Police command, Mr Okasanmi Ajayi, in Ilorin on Saturday, disclosed that six suspects in connection with the kidnap have been arrested.
The student was abducted on Sunday at one of the Malete off-campuses of the institution at about 9.30p.m.
The statement acknowledged the support of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, local hunters, vigilantes and the school authorities.

“Six suspects involved in the act have been arrested, different categories of weapons used in the kidnap were recovered,” the statement said.
The spokesman said the suspects would be charged to court after investigation.
