Five Suspected Drug Dealers Arrested In Jigawa

The suspects were arrested in possession of a reasonable quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and 10 tablets of exol.

Five suspected drug dealers have been apprehended by the police in Jigawa State in Sara village, Gwaram Local Government Area.

Spokesman of the command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest.

He said police on Wednesday, based on credible information raided a suspected black spot of the drug dealers at Sara village.

According to him, “During the operation, we were able to arrest five suspects. they are; Mubarak Rabiu, Aminu Muhammad , Yahaya Sani, Auwal Nasir and Abubakar Muhammad all from Bauchi State.”

He explained that the suspects were arrested in possession of reasonable quantity of dried leaves suspected to be indian hemp and 10 tablets of exol.

Adam said investigation is going on and the suspects will be handed over to NDLEA after the investigation.
