Residents in the neighbourhood had discovered that a person was trapped inside their domestic well.
Daily Post reports that the Kwara State fire service on Saturday, recovered the corpse of a man identified as Abdulfatai Taiye, who died in a well.
The incident occurred at about 19.15hours at Asaba Compound, Offa, Offa Local Government Area of the state, DAILY POST reports.

Spokesman of the state fire service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, in a statement in Ilorin on Sunday, said “the residents quickly summoned Offa fire service personnel who arrived exactly four minutes after the distress call at 19.19hours.”
“Within some couple of minutes, we were able to recover the victim’s body and handed over to one ASP Hakeem Adebayo of Nigeria Police Force, Offa Command,” he added.
The Director, state fire service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, while reacting, expressed sadness over the incident.
He urged the general public to be vigilant in their neighbourhoods to prevent similar occurrences.
