Whitemoney recalled how he felt after the mental health task, stating that it affected him on a personal level.

Whitemoney, the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, has revealed why he cried after the mental health task on Friday.

In a discussion with other housemates after the Jacuzzi Party, Whitemoney recalled how he felt after the mental health task, stating that it affected him on a personal level.

He told Saga, Nini, and Peace that he hasn’t felt that way in a while and the song also led to his tears.

Whitemoney said, “The way I broke down today, I’ve never broken down that way in a while. It opened the Pandora box. There’s a place that is locked for me.

“I laugh a lot and I play a lot because I’m locking up something. So that song was going to that place and opening up that thing.

“It was related to other people’s stories and everything. I wasn’t just crying for myself, I was crying for other people.
“I was crying for myself because there is something that is too deep. That thing is too deep and I didn’t expect it to come out.”
About the mental health task

The mental health campaign was part of the Friday weekly challenge by the headline sponsor of the show, Abeg.

It was the first part of the task involving all the housemates to present an educating campaign about mental health.

The campaign included songs, personal stories, poetry and other artistic presentations, which left some of the housemates in tears after the performance.

The second part of the Abeg task involved grouping housemates into four teams.
