Commotion As Gunmen Abduct Ex-NMA Secretary’s Son, Demand N20m Ransom

Adedamola Alayaki was abducted by some unknown gunmen, who later demanded a N20million ransom to free the victim.

According to a report by The PUNCH, the son of a former National Secretary of the Nigeria Medical Association, Dr. Adewunmi Alayaki, has been abducted by suspected gunmen in Ogun State.

Adedamola Alayaki was abducted by some unknown gunmen, who later demanded a N20million ransom to free the victim.

Our correspondent gathered that the son was kidnapped on his father’s farm at Isaga-Orile community, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun.

When contacted the State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Thursday in Abeokuta.

According to him, Adedamola is the Manager in one of his (father’s) farms.

The PPRO told our correspondent that the police were on the trail of the abductors.

“We are on top of the situation. Our men are on the trail of the gunmen,” he said.
