No less than three more person have been killed in another ghastly accident in Taura local Government area of Jigawa State.
Eyewitness told DAILY POST that the accident happened when a car crushed an Okada rider with his two passengers while trying to cross the road at Kwalam village.
He said all the three persons died on the spot.
Spokesman of the state police command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.
According to him, the accident happened on Wednesday night when an Opel saloon car, with Reg. No KMC515XA coming from Taura, heading to Gujungu town hit a motorcycle rider coming from the same direction while trying to cross the road at kwalam village.
He said as a result the said rider and two of his passengers died on the spot.
Adam said the corpses were taken to General Hospital Gagarawa and were confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
The deceased were identified as Abubakar Ali and two of his passengers: Abubakar Mustapha and Dahiru Sani, between 20 to 23 years age bracket.
He said investigation into the case was in progress.
