The short video clip showed a squad of police officers, quizzing the Yahoo boy on verified tips on how to send money down to Nigeria from the US.

A video has surfaced online showing the moment some police officers in Edo state were asking a suspected internet fraudster for tips on moving money illegally.

The short video clip showed a squad of police officers, probably despatched on patrol duties quizzing the Yahoo boy (internet fraudster) on verified tips on how to send money down to Nigeria from the US.

According to a social media user who recounted what happened, the officers illegally arrested the Yahoo boy who then settled them with a cash payment.

After receiving payment, they apparently wanted to make their own money through fraud by asking for tips from the fraudster.
