Mrs Ihejirika, who hailed from Ovim in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, died on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
According to Daily Trust, the mother of a former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Azubuike Ihejirika (rtd), Mrs. Nmerechi Nkennediya Ihejirika, is dead.
Mrs Ihejirika, who hailed from Ovim in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, died on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
A statement released and signed by her son, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika Rtd, says burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
The release said left to mourn her are her children, grandchildren, great- grand children, in-laws, and host of other relatives.
