NIgerian singer, Dare Fasasi, also known as Baba Dee, brother of late Olanrewaju Fasasi, alias Sound Sultan, has slammed hypocrites in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Recall Sound Sultan passed away on Sunday, 11 July after battling cancer.

The news of his death had entertainers in Nigeria sending condolences to him on social media and referring to his works while alive.

Some artists like Tuface Idibia, Faze paid tribute to the legend as they performed at ‘A Night of Tribute’ organized in memory of the ‘Jagbajantis’ crooner.

However, Baba Dee, took to his Instagram page lashing out at those who took to social media to mourn Sound Sultan but did nothing in private like reaching out to his wife.

He, however, did not mention names describing them as fake friends whose deaths will be used to generate social media content.

“Fake friends. Not a call to his wife, didn’t bother to attend his memorial event on a sit-at-home Saturday yet posting pictures and video on social media.

“Your death shall also be used to generate social media content,”
he wrote.
