The kidnappers of a Delta Monarch have demanded an outrageous sum of money from the family of the man as ransom before he can be released.

The gunman who kidnapped the Obi of Ubulu-Uku Agbogidi Akaeze Ofulue from Aniocha South Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State have demanded N100 million as ransom for his release.
According to Sahara Reporters, a police spokesperson, DSP Celestina Kalu, who also confirmed the development, said that the kidnappers called the monarch's family late Wednesday evening.
Mrs Kalu said: "We learnt this morning that the kidnappers called the family late Wednesday to demand a ransom of N100 million.”
"However, the police is working around the clock to track down the criminals and rescue the royal father unhurt," she added.
