The demolition of the Oshodi electronics market in Lagos seems to have been completed by the Lagos state government with the remains set on fire.

The popular Oshodi market, Owonifaari area that majored in the sale of electronics has been completely leveled by the Lagos state Government between 5th - 6th Januray 2016.
 
The remains of the market has been set on fire by the government ministry in charge and some scavengers in Lagos have seized the opportunities to search for left-overs they can make little money from.
 
The government issued an official statement concerning the demolition exercise which has led to serious agitations among traders in the market.
