There was a fire outbreak at Karimu market, in Abuja leading to the loss of properties and goods worth millions of naira.
In a video seen online, residents of the area could be seen salvaging whatever they could from the burnt shops.
It was reported that the fire, which started around 8pm on Tuesday, raged for over two hours before men of the Fire Service arrived.
A shop owner, who cried uncontrollably said he just stocked earlier in the day but everything was razed down.
Another shop owner, who simply identified himself as John, said all his goods were burnt.
