Following his defection to the All Progressives Congress, the PDP has broken its silence.

The Peoples Democratic Party has sent a message to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state after he defected to the All Progressives Congress.
Recall that Ayade dumped the PDP yesterday.
In a message on Twitter, the party said it wished him well.
The statement reads in part:
"Our party calls on all critical stakeholders and teeming members of our party in Cross Rivers State to immediately pull together and ensure that all structure of our party in the state remain intact."
