Drama As Bayelsa Indigene Who Fabricates And Sells Locally Made Guns To Criminals Is Nabbed

The 28-year-old suspect whose name was simply given as Victor Ogon, is an indigene of Agudama Epie, in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state.

A suspected gunrunner who specialises in fabricating and selling locally made guns for criminals in Bayelsa State has been nabebd by the operatives of the anti-kidnapping unit of the Bayelsa State Police Command.

The 28-year-old suspect whose name was simply given as Victor Ogon, is an indigene of Agudama Epie, in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state.

A press statement sent to DAILY POST through the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, said the arrested gunrunner was also a notorious member of the dreaded Bobos cult group.

The statement continues, “He has produced and sold several locally made guns to cultists and armed robbers in Bayelsa State. Detectives are on the trail of some of the cult members who had purchased some locally made arms from him.

”The state Commissioner of Police, CP Mike Okoli, fsi, therefore, calls for continued support from members of the public to enable police succeed in the arduous task of fighting crimes and criminality in the State.
