A former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the killing of police officers in Enugu state.

Femi Fani-Kayode has decried the sad killing of police officers in Enugu state.
The former minister of aviation also condemned the attack on Enugu police station by unknown gunmen.
Recall that gunmen attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters, Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Two of the police officers on duty were reportedly killed, while others were injured, with the police station burnt.
Fani-Kayode on Wednesday via his Twitter handle described the attack as shameful.
Accoridng to him, it would be a tragedy for anyone to turn Enugu which is a peaceful State to a theatre of war.
His tweet read: “The attack on an Enugu police station and murder of two policemen by unknown gunmen is shameful, shocking – I condemn it.
“Enugu is a peaceful State with a God-fearing and God-sent leader and it is a tragedy that anyone would want to turn it into a theater of war or haven for crime.”
In the past few weeks, gunmen have attacked Police stations in the South East and some states in the South-South
The latest incident took place on Monday, April 19 as unidentified hoodlums razed the zone 13 police headquarters in Ukpo, Anambra state.
