Bola Tinubu, Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former Presidential aide has lambasted Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), for donating the sum of N50m to victims of the fire outbreak in Katsina Central Market on Monday.

The national leader of the APC paid sympathy visits to traders and other victims of the market in the company of the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, a report stated.

Reacting to the donation, Omokri criticized Tinubu who according to him did not donate money for the victims of the Sasa market crisis in Oyo State and the Ijesha market fire victim in Lagos State.

Omokri on his Instagram page on Wednesday, lambasted the leader of APC, saying, “Obviously, Tinubu’s charity does not begin at home.”

He Said;

"Bola Tinubu, who did not visit or donate even one kobo to victims of the Sasa market crisis, or to victims of the Ijesha market fire in Lagos (though his own daughter is the Iyaloja, i.e. head of market traders in Lagos), has today visited victims of the Katsina market fire and donated ₦50 million to them. Obviously, Tinubu’s charity begins far from home. And this Chicago degree holder and his ilk are disrespecting Sunday Igboho, a wealthy man, who is willing to fight for the ordinary man, even at the risk of his wealth and health. Tinubu is a dealer. He is never a leader
