The Federal government has raised alarm about some Nigerians selling their COVID-19 vaccination slots, despite registering for free.

This was made known by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Abdullazzi Abdullahi, at the joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, who alleged that some people are selling their vaccination slots.

Abdullahi noted that everyone will be vaccinated and also averred that testing rates will be sustained to ensure that positive cases are identified, isolated and treated. He said;

“Everyone will be vaccinated free and everyone will eventually be vaccinated. There is no need to pay to be vaccinated.

“We are sustaining distribution of available commodities, PPEs and consumables to ensure availability at all times for end users at treatment centres.”
