Nigeria Records 1056 New Cases Of COVID-19
As Nigeria battles the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, 1,056 new cases were recorded on Tuesday, February 9.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Lagos recorded 214 fresh cases while Osun had 120 fresh cases.
Other places with fresh cases include FCT-116, Plateau-88, Ebonyi-75, Kwara-73, Gombe-70, Ondo-57, Rivers-47, Akwa Ibom-38, Edo-25, Oyo-23, Kano-22, Delta-19, Katsina-18, Borno-16, Nasarawa-13, Ekiti-8, Ogun-8, Bauchi-4, Benue-1 and Jigawa-1.
Nigeria now has 141, 447 confirmed cases of the disease. 115, 755 patients have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1, 694 patients have died from the disease.
