Northern Governors To Take COVID-19 Vaccine In Public

Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong who is also the Chairman of the Northern Governors' Forum has disclosed that the 19 Northern States Governors will take the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine publicly as soon as they arrive in the country.

Lalong said this in his address at a webinar organised by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, where the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine were discussed.

The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government Prof. Danladi Atu, said the Northern Governors will be publicly taking the vaccine to dispel fears surrounding it.

He Said;

“We – the Northern Governors – have agreed to take the first doses of the vaccines.”
