Governor Ayade's Aide Accuses NIN Enrollment Centres In Calabar Of Extortion By Colecting N2,000 Each Per Registration

This is coming barely 24 hours after the Federal Government suspended workers fingered in extortion at enrolment centres of the National Identity Management Commission.

The Special Assistant to the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, on Strategic Communication, Andrea Ekeng Inyang has accused enrollment centres in Calabar of extortion.

"NIN registration centers in Calabar are charging N2,000 each per registration. 100 registration a day is N200,000 Thieves!" he stated on Tuesday, January 5.
