COVID-19: Nigeria Records 1074 New Cases, 1,294 Deaths

A staggering 1,294 persons who contracted the deadly coronavirus virus in Nigeria have died.

On Friday, Nigeria recorded 1074, new cases of COVID-19, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has revealed.
 
NCDC said Lagos and Kaduna States recorded 642 and 92 cases, respectively, while Rivers State followed with 78 cases.
 
Nigeria now has a total of 88,587 confirmed cases and 1,294 deaths.
