Shehu Sani Reacts To Conflicting Figures Of Abducted Kankara Schoolboys

Sani stated that despite the disagreement in the number of abducted students, it is still a tragedy resulting from failure to protect or prevent.

Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the conflicting number of students abducted by gunmen in Government Science Secondary School in Kankara community of Katsina state.

Recall that while Governor of Katsina State Aminu Masari had said that 333 students were still missing from the school, the Presidency through the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu claimed only ten students were abducted.

Reacting to this, Sani stated that in spite of the disagreement in the number of abducted students, it is still a tragedy resulting from failure to protect or prevent .

He Tweeted;

"Whenever people are killed or kidnapped,the next comes disagreements in figures of the casualties or victims; even if its one,it’s still a tragedy resulting from failure of duty to protect or prevent;And that calls for empathy and action".
